Durante cuatro años Hugh Grant se ahorró la plata del agente y ejerció el mismo el cargo con un personaje ficticio. Lo llamó James Howe Ealy, con su propio correo electrónico. Cuando alguien quería conocer a James o telefonearle, Grant respondía con acento escocés.

“Si había tomado una copa o dos, escribía correos electrónicos como James y cerraba con ‘Hugh’ por error […] Me ahorré una absoluta fortuna”.
